UPDATE: JULY 26, 2013
Q: Will there be more tasks assigned in August?
A: No.
Tasks 1, 2, 2.1, 3 constitute your Summer Assignments. Make sure they are all completed with understanding and learning on your part and as demonstrated by the work you submit. Make sure you have read all the preparatory notes for critically reading and writing. Make sure you have refreshed your memory around Academic Honesty.
Again, if you are not clear about a particular part of your tasks, make sure to ask questions now.
This Q & A email support will be available only for another couple weeks in early August.
NO LAST MINUTE CRISIS-PANIC-PROCRASTINATION QUESTIONS & RESULTANT UNSKILLFUL WORK OR ACTIONS!
August, the last month before school starts, is right around the corner, literally.
If you have not yet started, get movin'!

A FRIENDLY OR CAUTIONARY NOTE ON ACADEMIC HONESTY:
Any work submitted, as you know, MUST HONESTLY reflect your own effort and understanding of this text and all related assignments. While you may receive appropriate support from others, do not fall into the trap---and illusion---that someone else's understanding of the text is a suitable substitute, or will serve as a useful replacement for your own reading and writing work. AP Language is not an "At least I turned in something..." type of course.
YOU ARE WARNED TO IMMEDIATELY ERADICATE THAT LAST MINUTE PROCRASTINATING LET-ME-FIND-THE-ANSWER-ON-GOOGLE TYPE OF DEPENDENCY---IF SOMEHOW THAT'S A HABIT THAT HAS BEEN FORMED!
THE ANSWERS COME FROM YOU, YOUR HARD WORK, YOUR EFFORTS TO REALLY READ & RE-READ THE TEXT AND SEEK OUT APPROPRIATE, ACADEMICALLY HONEST SUPPORT BY ASKING QUESTIONS, YOU GRAPPLING WITH THE IDEAS AND PUSHING FORWARD TOWARDS CLARITY. THERE ARE NO SHORTCUTS HERE! DO NOT LEAD YOURSELF INTO THOSE COMMONS TEMPTATIONS.
SUBMISSION OF ANY WORK IN THIS COURSE WILL BE SUBJECT TO STANDARDS OF ACADEMIC HONESTY.
