For TASK #1, securing a copy will be it for now.

Definitely get started reading, but there will be guided questions and tasks posted by JULY 1st.

Thanks for your question and welcome to the class, Regina.

Some vocab words are repeated throughout the chapters for task 2.1, I realize that we have to use different examples for the term, but can we use the same definition from previous chapters?

I'm not sure if I am enrolled in your class. There is an Ashley, but I don't know if it's me with my name spelled wrong

To Rejeanne and others,
Yes, even if repeated, just use the initial definition. However, please find different examples based on that section as appropriate.

Hi Ashli,
I'm sure you have double checked the roster here?
http://aplanguage-summer2013.weebly.com/is-your-name-on-the-enrollment-roster.html

Does it have your last name listed?

At this point, I only have access to the roster uploaded on this site.
Please contact Morse High and your counselor, or any other counselor on site right now during summer school while it is still in session. They will be able to tell you if you are enrolled in AP Lang. for 2013-2014.

Q: Will there be more tasks assigned in August?
A: No.
What was uploaded as of July 1st (Tasks 1, 2, 2.1, 3) constitute your Summer Assignments. Make sure they are all completed with understanding and learning on your part. Make sure you have read all the preparatory notes for critically reading and writing. Make sure you have refreshed your memory around Academic Honesty.

Thanks for your question.
Again, if you are not clear about a particular part of your tasks, make sure to ask the question now. This Q & A email will be available only for another couple weeks in early August.

NO LAST MINUTE CRISIS-PANIC-PROCRASTINATION QUESTIONS & RESULTANT UNSKILLFUL WORK OR ACTIONS!

August, the last month before school starts, is right around the corner, literally. If you have not yet started, get movin'!

I checked out my book from a local library and its due date is before school starts, so I was wondering if you were going to require us to bring our book on the first day of school?
